A New Book
My new book will be on its way out soon and I will be giving you guys the first heads up. I want feedback from
you and I'm gonna' set the website up differently so that I can get it from you as well as I'll be having some
contests. My Slam Poetry contest will be coming to Memphis soon and those interested more details will be offered in the coming
months. Eitherway, stay tuned coz the best is yet to come.

 The Meaning of Mound Bayou
To those who don't know me let me tell
you some about me and my latest work. My name is Daniel Asamota (as if you didn't know by now) and I'm a writer/singer/musician.
I like to write stories and songs just for you coz I love to entertain weave titillating tales of desire and lust! But I generally
have a message hidden away in there somewhere too so don't worry, I work your mind too. Not to many have been able to
tell me wht my latest work 'Mound Bayou' is about excepting that everyone in there seems to have sex a lot. Sex is
an imprtant element in the story, but it's not so much the sex, but how they're doing what they're doing. In 'Mound
Bayou' I put a lot of my own ideas about politics and community in their for in this historically black town I took the
opportunity to create an ideal place for any people. I'm gonna' do two more books on the series and they will all
be interconnected. I challenge all of you out there to figure out the rest and hit me back and tell me. The book is available

Jesse Jackson mad at Obama!
Hey folks I'm behind coz I just heard about
this. Apparently Obama and Jesse Jackson were speaking at a rally and Jesse got mad at the content of Obama's speech and
said something about cutting his nuts off. Now I'm surprised to hear Jesse say something like that and you know I'm
sad to hear it. Jesse Jackson deserves respect coz he's fought a long hard battle the best way he knew how in the face
of much adversity. But I think it's time for him to step aside and allow another leader or speaker to emerge. Now there
is plenty of work for him to do behind the scenes but he needs to step out of the spotlight for good. His best years as a
public advocate are behind him and he deserves to rest and be a guiding force BEHIND the scenes to the next generation of
African American public speakers.
The Williams Sisters dominate at Wimbledon; Again!
It
was another Sistah to Sistah Wimbledon as Venus and Serena Williams battled each other for the championship. It's always
good to see these two sistahs' on the court adding color to this auspicious occasion and that African American style of
tennis play that has served them so well in their careers. Eh, anybody know which one of them won?
Kung
Fu Panda kicks ass!
The knew animated flik 'Kung Fu Panda' delivers a knockout punch fo' da
real! I took my kid to this movie and it was non-stop action and fun from the very beginning! Jack Black does a fine job as
do the other actors and actresses voicing their characters in this delightfully entertaining G-rated flick. Yeah, one of the
few times I review one of those so you know it mustbe good.
Universoul Circus got Soul!
The Universoul Circus is the only black circus I know of and it is well worth the ticket price (which ain't that expensive).
I'm happy to see a circus where bruthas' and sistahs' who have a desire to pursue that sort of thing as a career
is available since you never really saw many blacks in other circus' anyway. With your continued support, it will continue
to bring quality entertainment to everyone for generations to come. It will be in Memphis this weekend so go out and see them.
Michael Vick Still in Jail; No One Else Charged!
Why is Michael Vick still sitting in
jail and the police haven't launched a wide investigation into OTHERS who are involved in fighting dogs? Why is he the
only one to get jailtime out of this matter? There need to be an investigation by the Federal Government into the Viriginia
prosecutor's offices to find out why they singled him out as well as that judge who put him in there in the first place!
He's being discriminated against and THIS CONSPIRACY needs to be brought to light!
